Ultimate Dance NRG provide a variety of Dance and Theatre workshops in Essex to cater to children throughout the school holidays, as well as workshops for many different organizations such as local councils, Youth Clubs, and commuinity providers.
Our aim is to provide energetic workshops for people of all ages. Workshop participants will learn fun and new skills as well as the opportunity to perform these skills at the end of the workshop by performing or displaying completed work to friends and family.

The local authorities currently providing these workshops are Essex County Council (Wickford Extended Schools and Positive Futures), The London Borough of Havering Cultural and Leisure services. We also run a number of workshops in primary and secondary schools.
Street dance/ Hip Hop classes available during school holidays, providing a 1 or 2 hour session of creative, fun movement aiming for a finished routine for friends and family to watch at the end of the class. This workshops are currently used by The London Borough Of Havering Arts Department and Basildon County Council. (Suitable age 5+)
Drama workshops for a duration of 2 hours,using games to develope skills in listening, interaction, taking direction, team work and to boost confidence. The sessions involve improvisation, scripted work and mime. This session is starting within Wickford,Essex from May 2008. (suitable age 5+)
Breakdance workshops over 3 days, 2 hour sessions each day creating a clean polished performance, including participants to choreograph their own work in groups, encouraging group work, alongside learning a routine. This session is involved with the Sports Developent Team throughout Havering. (suitable age 5+)
Musical Theatre Days (most popular at present are 'High School Musical' 'Grease' 'Oliver' 'Wizard Of Oz',however the structure is apllicable to all musicals) A day of dancing, singing and drama where every participant gets involved in telling a shortened version of the show, aiming for a 20 minute performance for friends and family to see at the end of the day. These days run from 10-3pm, including a 1 hour lunch break where staff will accompany students. These sessions are very popular within The London Borough of Havering, requiring more classes due to high demand. (suitable age 8+)
Musical Theatre workshops (5 days) A week of singing, dancing and acting to create a full show version of the chosen musical. On the finishing day a performance, with optional costumes and make-up, is ready for parents and friends to spend the afternoon watching. These will run at Fairkytes Arts Centre, Hornchurch during the summer holidays of 2008. (suitable age 8+)
Toddler movement to music classes. These sessions encourage interaction and taking direction for ages 3+. A fun relaxed enviroment using nursery rhymes to relate movement to words. Classes are due to begin in Hornchurch and Basildon, Essex.
