Ultimate Dance NRG was formed in 2007. Our mission is to enable and encourage the discipline of dance in all its forms throughout the community so that everyone can benefit from the physical, emotional and creative fulfillment which dance can bring. We allow no barriers and aim to provide equal opportunities to everyone.

The director of Ultimate Dance NRG is Lucy Shadwell. Lucy began her training in The London Borough of Havering, attending theatre and dance schools where she achieved ISTD, IDTA and BTDA dance exams in Ballet, Tap and Modern, as well as examinations for LAMDA Acting.  All of these are accredited examination bodies.  Lucy also achieved a diploma in courses including mime, stage management and stage make-up as well as stage fighting, film making technique, recording studio technique, musical theatre, jazz dance and singing.

Lucy was educated in Havering, attending Langtons Infants/ Junior Schools and The Sanders Draper School where she gained Grade A in GCSE Dance and Drama. Lucy achieved the role of Deputy Head Girl at Sanders Draper taking responsibility for organization of school events and was involved in the school mentoring programme, offering support and guidance for those in years below. Lucy continued her education at Havering Sixth Form College achieving A-Levels in Performing Arts, Dance and Theatre Studies. She was then accepted by Middlesex University for a 3 year degree course in Performing Arts.  At the age of 19 Lucy completed her teacher training and accomplished her IDTA Freestyle Associate teaching qualification. Throughout her years of training, Lucy has been fortunate to have performed in professional venues including: - Her Majesty’s Theatre, The Royal Albert Hall, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Sadler’s Wells and The Fantasyland Stage in Disneyland Paris, where Lucy took the role as team Dance Captain.

The company consists of a large number of specialists who are appointed to deliver specific work.  Each individual contributes a wide range of dance styles. It is company policy to only employ teachers with recognized teaching qualifications, CRB disclosure and public liability insurance.
